MEDICAL MISSIONS- As word of the
visiting medical professionals spreads, the people from the
surrounding villages travel many miles to see these doctors and
nurses. For
some, it's the first time they have ever been examined by a
doctor! |

CLEAN,
SAFE WATER IS NO PROBLEM FOR THOSE WHO LIVE IN THE FIRST WORLD ... BUT
IT IS A LUXURY IN THE POOR NATIONS OF THE THIRD WORLD! Hundreds of
thousands of infants die each year of diarrhea caused by impure water.
Because our mission statement reads, in part, “[to help] improve the
quality of life for the people and the communities of Honduras,”
HELPING HANDS FOR HONDURAS has sponsored several clean water
projects over the years. |

What a joy to see a
community brought to life by the simple gift of water. |
