Helping Hands for Honduras

About Us…

In 1998, Honduras was devastated by Hurricane Mitch which set back the country’s progress by 20 years. Helping Hands for Honduras was established to help communities in Honduras recover from this devastation, and to fill in the gaps where the Honduran Government has not yet reached. Honduras is the poorest country in Central America, leaving many of its citizens with little to no healthcare, primitive housing and few ways to earn a living, with agriculture as the largest industry. The country has few major roads, bridges or sanitation infrastructure, and very little medical care. Helping Hands for Honduras is dedicated to providing the people of Honduras with these services.

What We Do...

Helping Hands for Honduras is currently setting up medical clinics in rural areas of Honduras. We are building drinking water pipelines that provide potable water to villages that have no municipal infrastructure to provide such luxuries. We are helping children who require life saving surgery get admitted to hospitals in the United States for treatment. Please browse our pages to learn more.

The Chairman and CEO of Helping Hands for Honduras lives in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras. He was born and grew up in Buffalo, New York and in 1982 he left to serve God’s communities in Honduras, and he has lived there ever since. He travels back and forth to the United States several times a year bringing sick children with him and to spread the news of HHH’s good works.

Without a sense of caring, there can be no sense of community.
